Disneyland Hong Kong epitomizes businesses in Asia

I had roughly three hours of sleep before waking up this morning at 8:30 to buy the long-desired Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. On my 1.6x crop camera body, that’s basically 80mm, perfect for shooting portraits; and where is the best place to test out taking portraits besides Disneyland?

To get to the happiest place on earth, we took the Disneyland train from Sunny Bay. The Micky themed train brought us, along with a trainful of toddlers, directly to the entrance of the park.

Two noticeable difference between Disney Anaheim and Disney Hong Kong is that the latter has amazing shows and fireworks, whereas the former has bigger and better attractions. I mean, the kaleidoscopic Lion King performance gave me the chills with flying acrobat, fire-breathing stunts, majestic music, and dramatic narration. The closing ceremony of the park blasted fireworks and searchlights across the sky, as the photographer next to me blasted his camera’s shutter like he was in the trenches of Vietnam.
