Anhang's Contemplations

I finally had a chance to meet up old family friends at Singapore today. Ten years is a long time; people are right at using it as a measurement of a complete physical change. What struck me the most was how big David has grown; the once short little boy is now big and buff, even though he’s still only 15. During dinner, I drank a few glasses of Singapore’s Tiger beer with the Dads while bingeing on seafood, ostrich, and vegetables. Afterwards, David’s parents drove Jingyi, David, and I to the ION. We shopped around, played some guitar hero and drank milkshake, while strolling down Orchard Road passing through Takashimaya and Cathay. Jingyi bought me an “I <3 SG” shirt to add to my collection of “I <3” t-shirts. Thank you!

Reunion at Singapore

Tonight concludes my amazing week in the culturally diverse Southeast Asia. From the stunning peaks of Bali volcano to the beautiful riverbanks of Singapore, laughter permeated this week via many thrilling and ethnic activities.
