The worst part about traveling is acquiring the Visa

Following on our free tickets to Singapore, I ditched my morning class to apply for Singapore Visa. Since I’m the only person that needed a visa even though I’m also the only person who has ever lived or even been there, I had to go solo. The consulate only accepts visa applications between 10am and 12pm, I planned to wake up early and get there by 10:30 at the latest. As with most plans in life, they never exactly turn out the way it was planned. I woke up at 10:30.

Dashing out the door without breakfast, I ran to the bus station, got onto the MTR, and hurried out of Admiralty station, arriving at the consulate right before it closes. Sweaty and panting, I dug out all the documents and forms that was required for the visa. At least I thought I had all of them. The lady rejected my documents, asking for proof that I’ve booked my flight. Of course I haven’t had proof because I haven’t booked my flight yet. Since when do people book flights before their visa is approved?

This world is so illogical these days.
