Windsurfing in Sai Kung is cheap, fun, and lethal

I tried windsurfing for the first time today. After my only class ended at 2:30, I headed for Sai Kung; except this time, I wasn’t there to eat seafood. The beach is beautiful. Luscious palm trees and paradisiac islands were not far from reach. I just had to surf over on my windsurf board that I rented for the day for a dirt cheap price of HK$100. I spent the first hour just trying to stay on my board, and the second hour surfing back to where I started at. (I didn’t realize how far I had drifted in an hour.) Windsurfing is a lot harder than it looks. I’ll definitely be going back there soon.

I don’t have a waterproof camera, so no pictures of the beach. However, there was a singing contest in the Canteen during lunch time though. Some of them actually sang in English!
